Join us for our third annual Veterans Day Ruck | Walk as we honor and support our local Veterans and their families. Participants carry weighted packs — "rucks" — to symbolize the burdens our servicemen and women have carried for our freedom.

Carry the Weight
The DD-214 is more than a form — it's a bridge between two worlds. Woodforest Ruck began as a local initiative to ensure no veteran in our community feels the isolation of transition alone.
Every mile walked and every pound carried is a commitment to the men and women who have stood for us. 100% of net proceeds benefit Camp Hope — the PTSD Foundation of America's Houston program providing free interim housing, peer support, and clinical mental-health care for combat veterans recovering from PTSD.
The Path
A community route through the heart of Woodforest, beginning at Pine Market and ending with a tribute ceremony.

Pine Market
Check-in, breakfast, opening ceremony.
Hydration Stop
Water, electrolytes, medical support.
Veterans Tribute
Closing ceremony and ruck dump.
