• Event logistics
  Name, phone number, and email address for registrants, volunteers, and sponsor contacts — used for check-in, headcount against our 200-person cap, and reaching you if plans change.
• Shirt fulfillment
  Shirt size and mailing address, used to size the shirt order and to ship or hand off your event shirt.
• Sponsor and donor records
  Business name, category, logo, contact details, sponsor codes, and donation amounts — used to honor sponsorship benefits, display the sponsor wall, issue receipts, and keep accurate books for the event.
• Event-day communication
  Email and text-capable phone numbers, used for confirmations and occasional event updates leading up to and on the day of the ruck.
• Veteran status
  Optional, self-reported, and used only for recognition during the event and to understand who we're serving.

Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. Card numbers, CVV codes, and banking details never touch our servers and are never stored by us — we only receive a confirmation that a payment succeeded, the amount, and a reference number.

Funds are deposited into the event's own account and transferred to Camp Hope afterward. We describe this as 100% of net proceeds benefiting Camp Hope; we are not a tax-exempt charity ourselves, and event payments are not tax-deductible donations.

We do not collect a waiver online. Every participant signs a printed liability waiver in person at event check-in on the morning of the ruck. Minors must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian at check-in.

Access is limited to the small group of event organizers who need it to run the walk, plus the service providers we rely on to operate — our website and database host, our email delivery provider, and Stripe for payments. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Sponsor business names and logos are displayed publicly on the sponsor wall. Personal contact details are never published.

Registration, sponsor, and donation records are kept for the event year plus a few years of accounting history. Volunteer and mailing-list contacts are kept until you ask to be removed.
